Update: Pixelle Specialty Solutions' Chillicothe Paper Mill to Remain Open in 2025

New reports on the Pixelle Specialty Solutions paper mill in Chillicothe, Ohio say that the facility will remain open for the rest of the year. The shutdown has been paused; however, it will be completed in 2026.

This is welcome news to the print industry as well as the 800+ workers that were to be laid off by June. With more time to adjust and find solutions beneficial to everyone affected, locals and customers alike may have an easier time transitioning through this process.
