Liftoff Commerce Receives SOC 2 Type I Compliance Certification

Team Liftoff is excited to announce that we have reached SOC 2 Type I compliance. SOC 2 Type II is expected to be issued at the end of our 90-day observation period, which began Friday, July 31, 2026.

What is SOC 2 Compliance?

SOC 2 is an in-depth CPA-issued audit report that verifies and investigates a company’s security controls. Type I, the initial stage, dives into current standings, while Type II is observed over time to prove effectiveness over the course of multiple months. The SOC 2 title is given to a company or organization if they pass the five Trust Services Criteria:

• Security

• Availability

• Processing Integrity

• Confidentiality

• Privacy

This process ensures that we have the appropriate policies, procedures, and technical safeguards in place to protect our subscriber’s sensitive information.

What does Liftoff’s SOC 2 Type I Compliance mean for subscribers?

Liftoff is pursuing SOC 2 Type II compliance certification to give our subscribers a peace of mind when it comes to their data’s security.
